Marriage
The day of the wedding came and I was so nervous. While in the temple I had the worst feeling come over me. I didn't know if it was just the jitters or if I needed to cancel the ceremony. But everyone was already there. As we sat waiting in the celestial room, I was crying. Not because I was excited, but because I was terrified.
We went through with the sealing and took pictures. We enjoyed a yummy wedding luncheon and then headed to the church to set up for the reception. During the reception David seemed to spend more time with his friends than he did with me. What had I done?
The first night we stayed at a Marriott in Salt Lake. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch, so we ordered a club sandwich to the room. The next night we stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge and enjoyed the delicious Sunday brunch, but that day I was not feeling good about things. I told him that I had made a mistake and thought we needed to get the marriage annulled. He brushed it off and we headed off on our cruise. The cruise was out of Los Angeles and went to Catalina Island and Baja Mexico. We had a good time, but in my heart of hearts, I knew I had made the biggest mistake of my life.
